January 2010 Recap

Here is the mess that Shane came home to after work ...

Here is the culprit. Evan.

One of Shane's co-workers (Justin) had a daughter (Addison) just a few months behind Ayden and Evan. We went over for a quick play date.

One grand day, I turned around and found that Ayden had someone managed to get up on the chair ... an exciting moment for him ... and a very scary one for Mom!

After watching his brother crawl up on the chair ... Evan wanted to do it himself. He made it without much effort, but then Ayden thought it should be his turn again.

Evan not only playing with his toys, but literally ... playing in the toy box!

Evan and Ayden quickly learned that if standing in the toy box, one has more leverage to get up onto the end table ... and from there, one can fling himself onto the couch. What fun!

G'ma Wiebe had a birthday on January 30th ... so we went to help celebrate!

G'ma Wiebe was kind enough to let her grand kids play on the piano ... Ayden loved it!

Evan loved it too!

Making lots of noise ... I mean, music!

And when playing the piano isn't enough, it's another object to crawl on and tackle.
